Wow!! September already, I do not know about you but I am amazed as to where has this year gone. We ae now entering fall and all the festive holidays are approaching fast. We are already planning Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas Party and New Year’s Eve. Any ideas? Feel free to let any officer or myself know. Our lodge is up on membership, we finally broke the 400 mark and increased our membership. Let’s keep it up and continue to sponsor new members into our fraternity. This will not only help us grow, but you will be sharing all the benefits this lodge has to offer.
We are planning a lodge clean-up day on October 7, 2017. We need lots of members to volunteer and help us clean the parking lot, paint some walls, clean floors, bathrooms, patch, clean air filters, kids room, move bulletin boards, clean floor mats, and just a general all around clean up. Let’s all join together and make our lodge really shine!! Our ritual states: “A burden heavy to one is borne lightly by many”. What a great way to help out our lodge and make it one we can be proud of.
Well our landmark tree outside in the parking lot dried up and the city made us knock it down. I do not know how long it was out there but I have been a member for over 25 years and it was there then. A member suggested we plant another one or maybe some flowering shrubs. Any suggestions??
Well, before we know it, it will be the end of the year and 2018 is here. We need to embrace the rest of the year and enjoy all the upcoming events planned here. “Don’t You Just Love The Moose”!!!!!
